What we do

We advise and represent clients in all matters of German citizenship law. Our clients include individuals and families in matters of citizenship law. The proceedings concern, for example, the acquisition of German citizenship by claiming naturalization or by discretionary naturalization in the case of habitual residence abroad, as well as the determination of German citizenship or the loss of German citizenship by withdrawal or revocation.

Our History

The history of Hannover German Citizenship began in 2001, when the company's founder, lawyer Fabio Werlang, traveled to Germany in order to locate documents of his German ancestors in various cities and regions of the country.

In possession of these documents, and after much study of German citizenship laws dating from 1870 onwards, Fabio Werlang managed to obtain confirmation of his German citizenship from the Bundesverwaltungsamt (BVA - German Federal Administration Office), located in Cologne (Köln).

In April 2015, noticing a growing demand for German citizenship applications and the lack of someone qualified to help those interested, Hannover German Citizenship was founded.

Today, Hannover is made up of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of providing all the documents and forms necessary for the German citizenship procedure, thus ensuring that they arrive in the correct manner required by the BVA in Germany.

Hannover will also monitor the process directly in Germany, through its partner office in Köln, make the necessary arguments and even appeal the decision if the application is rejected.

The company also has a support unit located in Cologne (Köln) in Germany, the city where the BVA is located and where dual citizenship applications are processed.

Hannover German Citizenship has already been responsible for obtaining German citizenship for hundreds of families, and is recognized for the degree of excellence and care with which it handles its clients' personal information and documents.
